I am interested in working with School District as a Technology Demonstration Teacher. Attached is my resume and references as a first step in exploring the possibilities of becoming part of your team. I am experienced in public speaking and teaching computers to adults. I graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a minor in Management Information (Computers). In the spring of 2005 I will be finished with my Masters of Education in Business.
My most recent experience is working as substitute teacher. Before substitute teaching I worked as a classroom computer instructor for a community center teaching the community, from pre-kindergartners to senior citizens. I designed classes and programs for that job. In developing these classes I created my own material since there was not a curriculum already developed for these types of classes. My largest accomplishment was developing a computer camp with Texas Tech University School of Engineering for underprivileged students. My experience in the Marine Corp will aid your department by applying meticulous attention to detail and the understanding to always be ready. As an employee of your school district, I would bring a focus on a sense of responsibility as an individual Christian and the need to persevere to be like Christ. In fulfilling this goal I will not only please God, but find a motivation to do my best when things are good and bad at work and home.
